The interface should answer: what changed, who needs attention and what evidence supports the alert?
Avoid alarm fatigue
Thresholds, severity bands and deduplication should prevent the interface from turning every deviation into a crisis signal.
Preserve human authority
Machine outputs should inform judgement. Sensitive actions should remain reviewable and reversible.
Design for emotional load
Clear hierarchy, restrained visual encoding and predictable navigation reduce unnecessary cognitive burden for users handling difficult cases.
