People, companies, cases, opportunities, documents and actions should exist as first-class records when they matter to the workflow.
Keep source data separate from derived artifacts
An uploaded document and an AI-generated summary have different provenance and should not be stored as if they were equivalent facts.
Store model-run metadata
Prompt version, model, timestamps and status make generated artifacts easier to reproduce and audit.
Use relational constraints
Foreign keys, uniqueness rules and migrations protect product integrity in ways a prompt cannot.
