For Natural Beauty Clinic I treated the existing public footprint as a migration contract. The project tracks 120 retained paths explicitly instead of relying on memory.
Do not let preview environments become canonical
Preview and staging environments are blocked from indexing by default, while canonical URLs always point to the intended production domain.
Make content deterministic
The migration removes WordPress as a runtime dependency and imports content into auditable local records. This reduces runtime complexity and makes the final site easier to verify.
Sanitise legacy HTML and migrate media deliberately
Legacy page-builder code, scripts and unsupported embeds should not be copied blindly. Required media can be migrated into content-addressed assets while unwanted execution is discarded.
SEO migration is an engineering task
Canonical metadata, structured data, sitemap generation, robots controls and route verification should be part of the implementation plan rather than an after-launch checklist.
